The Black Man with A Gun Show accepts advertising on its podcast if the content is relatable to our listening audience.
The great thing about podcast advertisement is that it doesn’t expire. It is a great value for your marketing money. It’s better than terrestrial or internet radio. The commercial that is heard today on this podcast can be downloaded and heard next year. The ones that have done the best, have been for clients that have been with me for longer than six months. It has sticky value.
It is word of mouth advertising on steroids.
In our twelve-year existence the podcast has had the opportunity to partner with some great companies.
- AirForce Airguns
- American Built Arms co.
- Dillon Precision
- Ergo Grips
- Hager Watch
- Illinois State Rifle Association
- Joyce Pipes
- Lone Wolf Distributors
- Maryland Shall Issue
- Mobile Motorsports Solutions
- Smith and Wesson
- Thunderbolt Studios
- Timber Vaults
- United States Concealed Carry Association
And many more.
I have met some great people over the past twenty years and continue to do so in this industry.
How we “roll”.
Our podcast advertising is done in mid-roll. It is sometimes mixed with music and professionally mixed. The length not to exceed 45 seconds. By many measurements, mid-roll advertising offers solid returns. Mid-roll ads enjoy a higher completion rate than both pre- and post-roll ads. Listeners have already heard some of the podcast content; so if they make it to a mid-roll ad, it means they have remained engaged through roughly half of the show. For quality, there is a limited number of ads that is also contingent on the length of the show. On days when the show is shorter there will be less advertising. Premium sponsors are excluded.
