This week the guest are Dee Brown, a black hunter I know that will be a part of my hunting education in 2013 and host of Armed American Radio’s Mark Walters that will share what his show is about. I got a chance to talk to Mark more lately and found out I like the dude a lot. Cool brother. Great dad, good man.

And…

  • Funky Friday Tribute: FFUN- Bones Hooks (Con Funk Shun)
  • Cigar of the week: Padron – Old School, handmade Maduro, I had a good one. I could hear the Cuban music in the background as I smoked this one. CI rates under 90 but I am going to buy some of these. At least another one to see if it was a fluke.

  1. Ken, I discovered your podcasts through articles on The Daily Caller and heard you on Armed American Radio. I really appreciate your point of view and began listening to your podcasts beginning with the most recent and working backward in time. I found your comments in the October 26 podcast about black hatred of firearms extremely interesting since I happen to have become an “old fat white guy” without my consent. I’ve been an NRA member since I had my “firearms epiphany” while working for Navy Chaplains and wanted you to know there are indeed white NRA members who are alienated by country music, NASCAR and Ted Nugent’s “music”. I like blues (Texas or Chicago, not Delta) and “smooth jazz” and think driving around in a circle for hours makes no sense but I also think “professional sports” is an oxymoron. I hope you can reach those others cannot.

  2. Kenn, Love the show.  I have only been listening to the podcast for a little over a month, but I’m hooked.  Really love the Cigar of the Week.  I have been smoking premium cigars for about 15 years.  I enjoy your fresh perspective.  Keep up the great work and good luck on your shooting and hunting adventures in 2013!

    Bob
