Pre-Ordering Scam

I was in a BestBuy® and inquired about the iPhone 5™. I learned quite a few things accidently. The story had one left that someone had prepaid for but hadn’t picked up yet. They sold it to a guy in line before me. When that person who probably thought they had the luxury of time decides to come in and qet their phone or call to see when they could pick it up, they will undoubtedly be told “your phone is NOT in yet.”

I asked the youthful salesmen what he had and he whipped out his Samsung Galaxy. His phone worked on the Android system versus IOS and had a few features the iPhone didn’t. I felt bad. I was locked in the psychologically profitable system known as brand loyalty. But now that I know, maybe I can be cured.

I don’t think online ordering is all that it is cracked up to be unless it’s getting delivered to you directly. The Luddites might be better off. Be careful, out there when ordering stuff online. Some companies are milking the process. I think we might start to miss the all brick and mortar stores sooner than later.

I use to have an Iphone for about two years, but I got tired of not having flash and watching videos on my phone. So I made the jump to an Android and love it. If Apple would ever put flash on their phones, I would get one in a hart beat. But we all know that will never happen.
