Invictus: The Urban Shooter Podcast

The Urban Shooter Podcast # 302

Invictus, meaning “unconquerable” or “undefeated” in Latin

This week Bones Hooks with the help of some clips from the Vaudevillian past open with a Marvin Gaye song.  Kenn Blanchard is preparing for the New Year, starting with SHOT Show where he hopes to reconnect with new friends and hopefully find a sponsor for a television project.  All he needs, is your continued friendship, well wishes and prayers.

Red Skelton shares the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance.  Kenn shares what he did over the holidays and sent out a letter to you (if you are on his mailing list) to contact your Congressperson.  One of the most effective methods for a gun rights activist is to send a personal letter to congress.  It beats email, and phone calls which can be screened by interns that don’t have the same impact as a physical piece of paper.  I know its old school but so is our government.  Will you help us out by taking a few moments and sending your representative a letter?

  1. Emily Miller’s post about illegal magazines in the District

This is the 302nd episode of the Urban Shooter Podcast.  This is the 6th season.

The Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) and Conference is the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting sports, hunting and law enforcement industries. It is the world’s premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics and related products and services. The SHOT Show attracts buyers from all 50 states and more than 100 countries.

Kenn is going for the first part of the week.  He didn’t have much success with his first trip there last year and is returning this time a little apprehensive.  Thank God for the friends he has met though.  Looking forward to seeing them again.

Kenn ends with the poem by William Ernest Henley. ( Kenn changed a verse. )    (new open source gun rights blog, looking for contributors)   (forum and mini-social media site for pro-gun bloggers and fans.)   (Mothership connection)
