I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Thank you for subscribing to the Urban Shooter Podcast, listening to it on Stitcher.com or downloading it from blackmanwithagun.com. This is the 300th episode and although a milestone it is bitter sweet because of all the hate, fear and confusion that resulted after that disturbed young man murdered those children in Connecticut.
Gun owners are more than just people that believe in the right to keep and bear arms. We are fathers and mothers, law abiding and responsible citizens. We are sad too. It was terrible to hear our neighbors refer to us negatively after all this time. That hurt our nation. Division is never good. I even heard anti-rights people threaten others. That ain’t kosher.
To celebrate my 300th episode I wanted something special. I didn’t have a clue. For my 100th episode I got a quick blurb from Wayne LaPierre of the NRA. For my 200th episode I tried to have a live show, with a comedian, guest, and got some great plugs from Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation, Todd Jarrett, professional shooter, Hollywood actors, Tim Abell and Patrick Kilpatrick and close friends. It’s been a heck of a journey for the last five years.
For this show I got a chance to talk to Washington Times senior editor and DC gun owner, Emily Miller. She has been noted for her activism and attention to gun rights. You are also going to hear Mrs. Blanchard for the first time on the show. YAY! Barbara is on as well, as we celebrate with mamas!
In keeping with the spirit of Joy, Peace and Love, there is a lot of love mentioned on this show and stuff you don’t normally hear.
