Do You Believe?

Do you believe?

Gun prohibitionists want you to.

They want you to believe that laws banning certain types of guns will keep them out, and if not, they will find them and take them.

They want you to believe these things while asking you to simultaneously believe that they cannot find people who have entered the country illegally, and even if they do find them, they cannot get them back out of the country. They want you to believe these things even while they admit that they cannot keep illegal drugs out of the country, and once they are inside the country, they cannot stop distribution.

They want you to believe this, even though a person who enters the country illegally is…well, person-sized…and guns, magazines, and ammunition are considerably smaller than person-sized (and don’t require any life-support, either). And drugs often enter the country by the truckload, in bales much larger than guns, magazines, and ammunition.

But they still want you to believe that prohibitions on guns, magazines, and ammunition will succeed.

Do you believe?

Well...do you?
Well…do you?

I am an Endowment Member of the National Rifle Association, and a certified NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor, and Range Safety Officer. I compete regularly at my local club in steel plate pistol matches, and am a “C” Class competitor in the Single Stack division of United States Practical Shooting Association.
