296 – The Urban Shooter Podcast

 Black Friday 2012

This time of travel, and good family and food, I want to give you a long story that perhaps you can listen to on your drive.  I want to take you back to 1966.  A share a story of one of the first active shooters at the Texas Tower.  It’s about 34 minutes long, and not a happy story.

And I want to recommend a book to you that I got this year to review by David E. Petzal and Phil Bourjaily, “the Gun Nuts” published by Field and Stream.  It is without a doubt one of the best books I have seen this year for gun folks like us.

  • Texas Tower Shooting 1966
  • Interview with Tom Gresham
  • Recommend a Book for you
  • Black Friday
  • shout outs
  • Happy Thanksgiving

and although things not going as planned I am thankful for having you in my life, listening, commenting, sharing this podcast.  Have a safe trip and a good time with family.

I like the James Brown intro!  Ken.  Just keep doing what you are doing.  I am going through a similar situation with my photography endeavor.  Like a friend of mine stated your time will come.  Just persevere.
